I'm looking for the New York Stock Exchange ticker symbols for Gold (the one that will show the current value of about US$650.00 per oz), Silver, Platinum, and Oil (all three need the same requirement as Gold). I want to add their ticker symbols to MY YAHOO financial portfolio so I can easily track them. I'm not looking for stocks, futures, options, or the like. Just the straight info on these precious commodities, please. I searched Yahoo Finance, Wikipedia, and Google and couldn't find what I'm looking for at those sites. Please, no referrals or links - just the ticker symbols. Thanks in advance.

These are not traded as stocks - that's why you can't find ticker symbols.They aren't stocks - they are commodities. You would have to look at commodities exchanges like the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Oil is "OIX" but the others are commodities and they would be on the CBOE.
