Never done it myself before but there's a first time for everything. Was just wondering if there is a strategy for winning drivers? Is it better to hit than be hit? Or do the most successful drivers try and avoid collisions altogether? Thanks.

have a good team. have a fast car. and dont be afraid to hit people if necessary. however most collisions will slow you down. but sometimes you hafta go by the golden rule... "rubbin' is racin'!"

My winning strategy does not relate too well to circle track racing. It involves waiting 5 seconds before hitting the gas when racing from a standing start (this can only be doen if you are in the back of the pack). The purpose of that is so that I can drive around trhe outside of the pile of cars that will be sitting at the entry to the first corner.I always tried staying away from everyone. Of course, since I ran off road, with an open wheel car, contact was sometimes unavoidable, and most of the time costly for someone. Luckily, the only time I got together with anyone was when the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes harder than what I thought he was going to for a corner I had been taking twice as fast as he was going. I have been run into by faster class cars as well, but that was also front to back contact. I've also worked on stock cars. You wouldn't believe how many times I've had to replace or fix bodies that were the result of "rubbin' ."AS far as hitting or being hit, neither is good, since it will be damage you will have to fix sooner or later. My advice, stay away from them if you can, but be prepared to get in there and root for that position if need be. Just watch how hard you get into the guy, and remember to ALWAYS check out your car right after the race to make sure that it is not too damaged to finish the night.
