You can read all the success stories you want, but it is always best to join a share club. There are some around (in UK). Dont just jump in feet first until you have tested the depth.

There are a million posts here about penny stocks and the truth is that it is basically gambling. Many of those penny stocks are 'pump and dump' schemes.Don't believe me? Then why aren't there any mutual funds that invest in these monies? WHy is it that there is not a single billionaire who made their money from penny stocks?Stay away from them unless you have some super insider information.

I have a better strategy for penny stocks: avoid them entirely!Just remember, they are that low in price for a reason! Also they can be easily manipulated because they are so illiquid. People are always trying to scam people into buying these things so it will jack up the price, and then they sell while everyone else is left holding the bag. It's called a pump and dump scam, and it works very well with unregulated penny stocks. I run an e-mail filter server here at work, and we literally get thousands of these types of emails to our network every day! Beware!!
