I see this all the time. It probably can mean many things, but can it simply mean it's a trust-fund kid who juggles around his own investments?

View Full Version : When you see a small office with a sign out front that says, "Joe Blow Investments"...what does that mean? JasonBerry 07-23-2006, 11:14 AM I see this all the time. It probably can mean many things, but can it simply mean it's a trust-fund kid who juggles around his own investments? SergeM4553 08-03-2006, 10:17 AM It means they offer investment advice. It may be an independent investment adviser who charges a fee to clients or an investment adviser who does not charge a fee but earns commissions on the investments he sells to clients. The former is going to be more objective than the latter. prodigychild_21 08-14-2006, 09:19 AM Sounds to me like it suggests, "give us your money and we'll make believe we will make money for you, but in reality we're blowing your money away on golf courses and vacation retreats"So what do you say Joe? Wanna give it a go? |
