What are your thoughts on future trading with Asia and Europe from the perspective of the US?

The US won't be the center of the world.Sort of like when the US (and others) broke the British Empire charters waaay back.We really need to pay our debts before we get called on them.

why future? we already trade heavily with Asia and Europe and probably export more to those parts of the world than we import, resulting in a national trade deficit. this is not a good thing and we've lost much of our manufacturing capacity to countries where labor is cheaper. it's great for the EU and Asian countries of course, putting us in a position of being dependent on them for inexpensive, quality goods that we don't make here anymore.my solution: don't buy anything made in China (lousy human right record, totalitarian government, etc) and insist on buying stuff made in the US only. fat chance, I'd say
