I got 2 Profile AP2000 amps both outputting at 960 watts RMS http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?search=AP2000&i=489AP2000i drive a 2000 nissan frontier and its no joke that ima need to upgrade my stock alternator and battery most likely. I heard capacitors are a good patch or Batcaps also work well but ima need to draw alot of power and i dont think this will do. What is a good alternator to get or what options do i have to help solve my power problem if it helps both amps are running 1 Blaupunkt VW1200 sub each. which can do 600-1200 watts RMS.well doesnt matter now ...i called crutchfield and i dont need to upgrade all i need is a 2 farad capacitor to help with anything the alternmator cant handle....crutchfield.com = the bomb

Caps will not help you if your charging system is not big enough. If you don't have enough power an alternator upgrade and big 3 upgrade (http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~73496~PN~1) are the only way to go. You can also get a deep cycle battery for additional help. Good Luck!!!

Battery: get an optima yellowtopalternator: check out Iraggi or Excessive Amperage, both have some nice high output alternators. Batcaps are decent in that they supply some power, caps just plain suck unless you already have the power there.
