If you get a chare tradng account with HSBC (which is free), they have a real time shadow option where you do exactly as for real but without using any money to see how you would do.

There are quite a few, but none of the US ones offer live stock information because of the very real possibility that they will be used by day traders who will pull the info off the free game, then go to their own broker and place trades. All the major simulators use a 15-20 minute delayed feed to avoid this issue. You will be able to get live data if you pay one of the larger online investment companies for an account, then you can get access to a ticker that shows you live data.By checking out the link I supplied you can read reviews of all the major stock sims out there and be able to better judge for yourself which are good and not good for your needs.Good luck and have fun :)
