Yes, but what if that year is the one your child/grandchild was born? Or you were getting married? You know what I mean...

View Full Version : If you were given the option to trade one year of your life for World Peace, would you make the trade? Stellalunabatgirl 10-16-2005, 10:49 AM Yes, but what if that year is the one your child/grandchild was born? Or you were getting married? You know what I mean... halfmanhalfhuman 10-17-2005, 08:14 PM just 1 year? thats too easy, yes i wouldyou know people would die just to have world peace for the sake of their children and everyone they care for sarah8444 10-19-2005, 05:39 AM yeah. lala 10-20-2005, 03:04 PM omg yes. Mercenary 10-22-2005, 12:29 AM I would give 5 yrs of my life so there wouldnt be world peace. Where would we be without war. BretTheHitmanHart 10-23-2005, 09:54 AM When I'm older perhaps... I'm still enjoying my life in college at the moment i still have much to See,Accomplish, and Do Jsstuffedanimals 10-24-2005, 07:19 PM of course, i'd give up another year if they could stop all the violence going on. JOnemc_ 10-26-2005, 04:44 AM maybe it all depends Sinful 10-27-2005, 02:09 PM Yes, Can I give them the one when I was 7 years old? candleinthewind7579 10-28-2005, 11:34 PM Yes...I would give that year regardless of what happy event was happening in that year...because it would be my way of giving back, and insuring the peace and freedom for all people including my loved ones. A world without fear and violence for 1 year of my life...would be a no brainer SquirrelCage 10-30-2005, 08:59 AM Yes, regardless of the price, (the year the grandchild was born, etc.) I would do it. Nice question. Amanda9832 10-31-2005, 06:24 PM Sometimes, I think I would like to give my whole LIFE, to give world peace, you know, when I get really down. But seriously just one year??I would trade that in a second..but wait you guys, look at it from this point of view, your wife is fixing to have a baby, your SO much in love with her, and want this baby SO much, but someone offers you this trade, you think it's no big deal, because you think by 1 year the baby will almost be born. But you miscalculate. The baby was 3 days away from being born, you already made the trade, your wife dies during birth, and your wife didn't want to go to a hospital, she wanted a home birth, and so the baby died aswell.Ouch. azshootme 11-02-2005, 03:49 AM yes i would but you are never going to get those towel heads to give up the jihad.... and even if you did ..how do you feed the growing mass of humanity blackday22 11-03-2005, 01:14 PM I guess that would permanently prove that my life is meaningless, but sure, as long as everyone's included.Or maybe that would be the meaning of my life... Either way sure, I hope the year I miss isn't the one of world peace. diane 11-04-2005, 10:39 PM I have children,& grandchild and regardless IF I could Create 'The Real Form Of World Peace' WE NEED with one year Or the rest of my life ,I,d do it in this very Second..{I care That Much} pete 11-06-2005, 08:04 AM yes BeachiePoo 11-07-2005, 05:29 PM I would. So many have given up so much more. Roadrunner58-79 11-09-2005, 02:54 AM N O, I am sorry, but there will never be World Peace, becausethere are too many differences in this world for such a thing to happen. AnthonyV 11-10-2005, 12:19 PM yes i would. DaveS 11-11-2005, 09:45 PM yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss can i choose the yr? boundless 11-13-2005, 07:10 AM Nope. But I wish I had the option of taking away the life of those morons that are detrimental to world peace. ropehater 11-14-2005, 04:35 PM Absolutely. In fact, I signed the contract to trade 6 years! I laugh at the people here saying "well if there was a baby..." what do they think the men ovrseas right now are going through? We have soldiers over there dying for peace who never saw their children at all.One year is nothing compared to an entire life. I signed my name in the hopes that I could trade one year so that someone with a baby on the way could stay here and be a father.God bless our troops. |
