i would trade him for verlander, kazmir is good but from a fantasy standpoint verlander would be a better fit

Other owners might not want Kazmir because of his recent injury (even though it was minor) and the fact that he plays on a losing team. Oswalt is the only pitcher I think you can get straight up in a one-for-one deal, because his strikeout totals are not as good as Kazmir's and he plays on a so-so team. That said, you may just want to keep Kazmir. If healthy, he'll top 200 strikeouts and with an improved TB lineup, he may win more games than expected.
