There's options trading .. and then there's options trading. You know, what you get from most trading books or online sites is watered down for the average person. Unfortunately this watering down has the effect of oversimplifying and leaving out important details. The result is that any advantages that may be had by trading options, are no longer there.The proper way to trade options is to learn all the complicated stuff. But this requires understanding options trading from the inside perspective (investment banking) and understanding graduate school mathematics.If you don't have experience with either, then options aren't going to give you any edge in your trading, whatsoever.To get an idea of how professionals trade options, pick up any book by Nassim Taleb. Chances are you won't understand it, in which case undoubtedly you are better off not trading options.
