Global Stock Market Rout – babies tossed with bath water, the article is in the National Post. Most financial news is doom and gloom today. I think young people need to give their financial managers some room to move. And scared older investors need to critically assess how much they can afford to invest. My savings is safe. I believe money is in GIC's which are in a 100 percent canadian investment. No worries. But what if you can't sleep? Is the writing on the wall. Should I stick with my job? Or continue to find another one? Sounds scarry in the investment field. Thanks, Mike t.Investment capital is worth using when all your souces say it will be worth your while. I bet Charles could find something good to invest in before July. Just a thought. Good Hunting, Charles, Mike t.

well if you feel that the TSX is going to continue to get battered there is HXD.TO HORIZONS BETAP BEAR ETF. Its a ETF fund designed to appreciate in value when the market goes down. Its currently one of the most traded issues on the TSX.Its all about risk tolerance however, I've been sitting all my new investment capital in cash since November because I was expecting a sell off just not this big of one. I'll likely jump back in July.
