ParisHilton 05-30-2003, 01:42 AM Try Santee Alley, around 13th street.. CarlisleGirl 06-06-2003, 09:11 AM A traditional place is 7th Marketplace, at 7th and Figueroa. But why not go where you cannot find except in LA. Walk (or take a DASH bus for a quarter) about 9 blocks east to the fashion district and lose yourself in a bazaar of clothes, shoes, purses, fabric, etc. Great fun! zipps8_6 06-13-2003, 04:40 PM There's the LA mall. Obviousman 06-21-2003, 12:09 AM Habib, you don't have great shopping centers for tourists in downtown LA. If you are staying in West Hollywood, then you should visit the Beverly Center, which is very close to West Hollywood, at the corner of Beverly Blvd and La Cienega Blvd. This is a very good place to shop. SaraL 06-28-2003, 07:39 AM There aren't really any shopping centers in Downtown LA. The 7th Marketplace (or 7th and Fig as its usually called) has very few stores. Your best bet for touristy shopping is Hollywood and Highland. If you won't have a car, the best way to get there is to take the Metro Red Line (subway) from the 7th and Figueroa station to Hollywood and Highland station. |
