It seems that they've stopped selling the 60Gb PS3 in the UK and Ireland - at least temporarily but in the US and Japan there is the 80Gb model. Personally I don't care which one I get as long as I can buy one of them. When will the shops in the UK stock one of these models?

Sony has no plans to make an 80 gb for the UK. The UK got screwed since the beginning. Instead of getting the emotion engine, you guys got software emulation, and I believe your guys paid a lot more than what we paid for the 60 gb. Don't even bother importing a US 60 or 80 gb PS3 because as you may well know, PS2 games are still region locked, so the US PS3 will only play US PS2 games.
