Hi, I know what books teach about shares. But , I dont know how the markets work? How to make money there? What are the jobs we have in stock markets and how the jobs help us in getting good knowledge of their working? Pls suggest.

The stock market is driven by people's emotions. Stock prices go up when more investors are buying. Prices drop when they are selling more. In the long term, a company's stock is dictated by earnings. Its all speculation in the short term. Stocks are the growth engine of a portfolio.
