example is when i go to the yahoo finance like millions of others and type in the get quote box a symbol like yhoo...when i do that a little white box opens right below my symbol im typeing and goes alphabetically that saves all the symbols i have ever entered...but i have typed in some wrong symbols and need to erase them...how can i erase them without defraging my computer..? thanks all...

Have you tried deleting your computer's cache, maybe cookies? I turned off my browsers pop-up so I just enter the symbols I need when I need it without having a box popping up.
