I read about it a year ago, I thought it was too risky. I met a guy last night that bought a 3k program that tells him what to do.. and he profits 97% of the time. (do you think he was just talking big??)Anyway, any advice would be good too. I don't want to get into something just to figure out that it's pointless.

try babypips. I guess even child could learn a forex with them. their advantage is that it's not somekind of scam forex scheme and they are asking any money from you.

I agree with several of the other posters - http://www.babypips.com is probably the best place to start for a beginner. Please remember this is a very volatile market, do not risk any money that you can not afford to lose.Once you're ready to take the plunge and need a broker, check out http://www.BestOnlineForexBrokers.comThey have listings, reviews, ratings, etc. on the top 150 online forex brokers including those that would be best for newbies.

You can use http://www.forextopten.com/ . Read the free articles they have there, and use it to look for good products on Forex.About your friend he was probably talking big. No one wins 97% of the time. And 3K for a software is too much. There are some good products below $100.Good luck
