I am travelling around Australia and have been for a year. I am due back in the uk in October. I have no plans or idea what to do when i get back, but i do know i want to live in London. I have no specific career or trade behind me so am looking for suggestions. Another option is to fly to New Zealand on another working holiday visa and just have another year of fun and new experiences. Any tips will recieve a free cuppa tea :)

Go round to the local coucils and get a gardener's or labourers job. Of even a grave digger. The best employer in the land-good union, salary, and nobody works hard. After six months you get sick pay. Good luck.

Thanks I'll have tea two sugars please. If I were you then I would go on to New Zealand for a year and work there. Far cleaner and nicer than London I would imagine. If you do decide to go to London then remember it is expensive to live there! You may find work in retail or maybe bar/restaurant work?

Bar / Waiters jobs should be pretty easy to come across in London.

sure you could be a data entry clerk/labourer/warehouse monkey on piss-poor wages, but would you really prefer that to doing the New Zealand thing and experiencing new people and horizons and having an amazing time - GO TO NEW ZEALAND MAN!

We're alright for scroungers at the moment thanks.Failing that, try becoming a eastern european for a while, plenty big money for you, less and less money for the skilled british worker.
